Art Education

I believe art not only nurtures students’ creativity, but also supports so many other valuable and transferrable skills. I don’t expect my students to all grow up to become artists, but without a doubt I believe every student will use something they learned in art class no matter what path they may take. Art teaches students how to solve problems differently, how to question and challenge the norms, while also giving them the courage to try new things and the conviction to defend those creations. Art shows students the value of human ideas, innovations, and creations. Art allows students to express their minds and hearts in the truest form.
